Hammerscrews
Powers Hammerscrews are preassembled fixings. Hammerscrews provide a strong fix, especially for wood into concrete and brick and are ideal for window frames.
Installation is easy as it is simply hammered through a fixture into a pre-drilled hole. The screws can be easily removed if necessary making hammerscrews ideal for light duty, non-engineered applications. Previous applications include roof flashings, brick ties and masonry anchorage, electrical fixtures, HVAC and mechanical attachments, drywall track and general maintenance.
Drywall Screws
Drywall screws are the perfect way to attach drywall panels to your base material. Powers drywall screws offer the finest quality available, and yet are brought to you at a very attractive price.
Powers drywall screws have a range of unique benefits to give you the best possible performance. They are needle pointed for easy penetration through both the drywall (which minimises any damage) and the base material. The screws are black phosphated, and have passed a 48 hour salt spray test. This gives excellent protection, and ensures (unlike some other brands of drywall screw) that no colour leeches out, staining the wall. The phosphating also provides an excellent surface for paint or filler to stick to.The screw's head is set at a 60° angle, and the bugle shape keeps any paper burring to a minimum, giving the highest possible finish. The shape of the heads allow for an extra-deep Philips recess, ensuring consistent driving of the screw even with a worn driver.
Powers drywall screws are available with both fine thread for fixing drywall to metal stud/ metsec frames, and coarse thread for fixing to wooden frames and furring strips. Each box of 1000 contains a bit for driving your Powers drywall screws.
