Product Description
The Powers Nail-It packs provide the most comprehensive range of nails for wood-to-wood first fixings. The Nail-It packs come in a variety of lengths (50-90mm), with different features and finishes to suit any project and any job, indoors or outdoors.
The 34° nails are collated with strips of paper which blow away when fired. This makes them a far more environmental choice than plastic collated nails. Each nail's head is coated in a film of resin. This lubricates the nail on entry, allowing for better penetration, and the friction of entry melts the resin. This bonds with the wood and hardens, giving an even higher pullover value.
The nails come with two shank types; smooth (S) or ring (R). Ringed nails has a series of rings along the shank; these provide extra grip in the wood so are best suited for overhead or vertical applications. Smooth nails are less expensive and are best suited for underfoot applications.
The nails come with 3 coating options. Bright nails (BR) have no protective coating, making them our cheapest nails and well suited to indoors use where they will not be exposed to moisture. Zinc-plated nails (EL) have a coating of zinc to provide some protection against moisture and wet, but should not be used in areas where they will see heavy exposure. Hot-dip galvanised nails (HD) have a heavy coating of zinc to allow heavy exposure to the elements and so are best used for external applications.
Powers 34° CDH nails and gas also fit the Paslode IM350, and are guaranteed by the manufacturer to work in your Paslode tool. Not only are these superior nails, they are also cheaper, so there is no need to change your tool to save you money.
